Chhinnamukul Bangladesh a child and women focused development organization,emarged as an independent NGO from the North Bengal Rehablitation Program (NBRP) of Terre des Hommes(tdh) Foundation, Lausanne (Switzerland), an International NGO working Kurigram district of Bangladesh.
During 1975 to 2000 TDH developed and implement NBRP and has been one of the leading NGOs in Kurigram District providing servises to the voulnarable children and women. Realizing the global context and observing of NBRP since 1992 Tdh started the proces of information NBRP into local Bangladeshi NGO that finally earned fully independent status with the registration under the NGO affairs Bureau on 16.05.2000. Chhinnamukul Bangladesh a non government and non profit organization (NGO) based at Kurigram is providing a wide range of services in three districts e.g. Kurigram, Lalmonirhat and Rangpur. Chhinnamukul Bangladesh was started its mission in response to famine of 1974 as one of the feeding centre for the children, mothers and elderly people in Kurigram. Later of Tdh Foundation took over the responsibilities of the feeding centre. During 1975 to 2000, Tdh developed and implemented NBRP and involved as one of the leading aid agencies in Kurigram to support the deprive communities. In the year of 2000 Tdh put greater emphasis on localization the program and supported NBRP in becoming an independent Bangladeshi organization in January 2001.

Mission: Chhinnamukul Bangladesh belongs to the values of non-discriminiation and non-exploitotion in facilitating participatory and sustainable development development approaches towards promoting and execluded people particularly women, children, small farmers and landless people.
