Since 2006 Rehabilitation department has been working to integrate successfully all beneficiaries of SPP through appropriate and suitable rehabilitation plan. This unit starts work with each beneficiary, from the time of their admission to successfully into the community.

This departent is managing the foster programme, Half way house, continue a research piloting to upgrade the existing rehabilitation system. Beside of these activites now this department is provaiding support to the victims of Rana Plaza under Foster programme. A total 175 persons is now supported and we have planned to increase this number.

The rehabilititation programme of SPP aims to reintegrate our benificiaries in to the community by working in partnership with them and helping them plan for the future. The programme negins working with each beneficiaries when they are admitted through untill sometime after leaving SPP they are completly re-settled in to community. Occupational therepists, a physicotherapist, a programme organiser and social workers work together a multidisciplinary team whose members are able to offer the best possible rehabilitation and mainstreaming services. They also run a half-way house for families to re-learn community skills before they leave SPP. The team also maintains relationship and links with the people in our community, the mother/children families and communities and local employers.

Among the programme run by Shishu Polli Plus, Sreepur Village Trade, consisted of eighteen employees, is the only income generating programme of whichsole generating is to provide training on different income generating activities to the destitute mothers who are admitted in SPP for five years with a view to enabling them to be slf-reliant within this period ensuring free food and accommodation facilities along with those training. Sreepur village trade thus assists SPP's core programme named rehabilitation unit to replace those mothers in thier respective communities where they can earn thier livelihood by involving themselves into different income generating activities learn from SPP.

Besides providing training to the mothers living in SPP, SVT works for with around eighty economically disadvataged women artisans living in the nearby village of SPP with a view to recognizing their artistic talent as well as to increasing their participation in the decision making process of their families by ensuring economic empowerment. These women who are fully dependable on SVT now for maitaining their families work as SVT's producers and earn money by making and selling different types of hand-made products. As they are given fair and regular wages they can meet their basic needs.

The cards are sold mostly in UK. In local market it is sold in a small scale. The scarf with vegetable dyeing of our handloom section has also a great demand in the UK.

The tecnical support & services section takes care of all the infrastructures, buildings and other physical facilities inside SPP. This section contains 15 compentent technical staff and is led by a qualified engineer. As the infrastructures of the centere are depreciating each year, it is a challenge for this section to keep them well maintained. Other than routine maintenance work, a lot of major maintenance/renovation works are required to do each year. The section prepare plan earlier for the utility facilities time line as per plan. Beside these the section organises and implements huge new construction works-buildings and other facilities under project based works each year. The vehicle pool containing o7 vehicles including o2 motor cycle are also being maintained by this section.

আরবান প্রজেক্টের মাধ্যমে টঙ্গী রেলওয়ে স্টেশন ও তার আশে পাশের এলাকার অসহায় পথ শিশুদের পুনর্বাসনে সহায়তা করা হচ্ছে। এর আওতায় পথ শিশুদের ড্রপ-ইন সেন্টার এবং নাইট শেল্টারের মাধ্যমে মৌলিক চাহিদা যেমন: খাদ্য, শিক্ষার সুযোগ, চিকিৎসা সেবা, বিশ্রামের স্থান, গোসল ও পরিস্কার পরিচ্ছন্নতার সুযোগ, বিনোদনের সুযোগ সৃষ্টির পাশাপাশি সেবাদানকারী অন্যান্য সরকারী বেসরকারী প্রতিষ্ঠানের সংযুক্ত করা হয়। এছাড়া পথ শিশুদের সল্প মেয়াদী শেল্টার হোমে রেখেশিক্ষা, স্বাস্থ্য এবং মনো-সামাজিক সেবার মাধ্যমে অভ্যাসগত পরিবর্তন ও উন্নয়ন ঘটিয়ে পরিবারে মিলিয়ে ( re-integration) দেওয়া হয়। পরবর্তীতে তাদের দীর্ঘ মেয়াদী পড়া-শোনার খরচ প্রদান করা হয়।

শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের মূল কাজ হল সুবিধাভোগী মা ও শিশুদের পরিচর্যা করা। মা ও শিশু পরিচর্যা বিভাগ সুবিধাভোগী ভর্তি এ এখানে সববাসকালীন তাদের পরিচর্যা করা এর মূল কাজ । মা ও শিশু পরিচর্যা বিভাগ শিশু পল্লীতে অবস্থানকারী মা ও শিশুদের আত্ন-উন্নয়নে ও বিভিন্ন কার্যক্রমে স্বতস্ফুর্ত অংশগ্রহনে সর্বদা অনুপ্রানিত করে থাকে।

শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের অভ্যন্তরে অবস্থিত প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ে সকাল শিশুরা অধ্যায়ন করে থাকে। এ বিদ্যালয়ে সকালে শিশুরা ক্লাস করে আবার এ বিদ্যালয়েই বিকালে তারা তাদের বাড়ির কাজ সম্পন্ন করে থাকে। এসময় মায়েদের জন্য তাদের মান অনুযায়ী শিক্ষা কাযক্রম পরিচালিত হয়ে থাকে।

বিদ্যালটি জাতীয় শিক্ষাক্রম অনুযায়ী পরিচালিত হয়ে থাকে। এখানে প্রাক-প্রাথমিক এবং শিশু বিকাশ কেন্দ্র রয়েছে।

লেখা পড়ার পাশাপাশি শিশুদের নানা প্রকার সহ-শিক্ষা কার্যক্রমে অনুপ্রানিত করা হয়ে থাকে। যেমন: চিত্রন্কন, সঙ্গীত, নৃত্য, কম্পিউটার ও ইংরেজিতে কথা বলা। পঞ্চম শ্রেণি উত্তির্ণ শিশুদের এলাকার উচ্চ বিদ্যালয়ে পাঠানো হয় এবং সকল প্রকার সহযোগীতা অব্যাহত রাখা হয়। সকল মায়েদের জন্য সাক্ষরতা কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হয় যাতে তারা সহজ ভাবে পড়তে, লিখতে এবং হিসাব করতে পারে। আগ্রহী মায়েরা ইচ্ছা করলে অন্যান্য কাজে অংশ গ্রহণ করতে পারে, কোন কোন মা উন্মুক্ত বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি হয়ে পড়া শোনা হরে থাকে।

SPP's staffed by senior and junior nurses and paramedics. It also works with local health care NGO (Gonosasthyo Kendra) and related government health facilities. The focous is on preventive health care such as immunisation, health trainign, eye checks and dental care. The medical staffs endeavour to provide proper health care, education and psychological support for our beneficiaries, either within our permises or in external hospitals/ clinics. Recently we have set up a labratory for basic tests.

শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের ভিতরে একটি পূর্নাঙ্গ ক্লিনিক রয়েছে যা একজন পাবলিক হেলথ্ বিশেষজ্ঞ ও কয়েকজন সিনিয়র  নার্স ও প্যারামেডিকস্ দ্বারা পরিচালিত । ক্লিনিকটি স্থানিয় গনস্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্র ও সরকারী স্বাস্থ্য সেবা প্রদানকারী প্রতিষ্ঠান সমূহের সাথে একযোগে কাজ করে থাকে ।  

শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের স্বাস্থ্য কর্মীগন সর্বদা শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের ক্লিনিক অথবা বাহিরের হাসপাতাল বা ক্লিনিকের মাধ্যমে সকল সুবিধাভোগীর জন্য যথাযথ স্বাস্থ্য সেবা, স্বাস্থ শিক্ষা অথবা মানসিক সহযোগীতা প্রদানে সচেষ্ট থাকেন।

সম্প্রতি শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের ক্লিনিকের অভ্যন্তরে সাধারন কিছু পরিক্ষা নিরিক্ষা করার জন্য একটি প্যাথলজিক্যাল পরিক্ষাগার স্থাপন করা হয়েছে। “প্রতিরোধ প্রতিকারের চেয়ে উত্তম এই বিশ্বাসে ক্লিনিকটি সারা বছর ধরে প্রতিরোধ মূলক কার্যক্রম যেমনঃ টিকাদান, স্বাস্থ্য প্রশিক্ষন, চোখ ও দাঁত মতো কার্যক্রম পরিচালনা করে থাকে ।

SPP looks after some physical challenged adolecents and adults who were admited during their childhood. We provide care and treatment, such as regular phychological assesment, occupational therapy and physiotheraphy. Alhtough several are profoundly disabled, they are all encouraged to have active and purposeful lives. A newo phycho-Social Center at our Saya Kunjo bulding has been created with a pleasent environment where we can monitor their care and develop their rehabilitation.

কম পক্ষে ৮ম শ্রেণি পাশ করার পর যে সকল ছেলে মেয়ে আর পড়া শোনা করতে চায়না তাদেরকে তাদের যোগ্যতা অনুযায়ী কারিগরি প্রশিক্ষণ প্রদান করা হয়ে থাকে। শিশু পল্লী প্লাসের কোর্স গুলি হল - সেলাই, বিউপি পর্লার, গার্মেন্টস, ক্ষুদ্র ব্যবসা, হাঁস -মুরগী,গরু ছাগল পালন, বাড়ির আঙ্গিনায় সবজি চাষ ইত্যাদি। সুবিধাভোগী মায়েরা ও এ প্রশিক্ষন গুলো পেয়ে থাকে। তাছাড়া ও সচেতনতা মূলক ও সাধারণ জীবন দক্ষতা মূলক প্রশিক্ষণ সুবিধাভোগীরা পেয়ে থাকে।
